S. Korea lost doubles match to China in Davis Cup

SEOUL, July 11 (Yonhap) -- South Korea lost a doubles match to China 1-3 on
Saturday after taking two opening-day singles a day earlier in the second-round
playoff of the Davis Cup Asia-Oceania Group One.
To stay in the group, South Korea now needs to win one of the two reverse singles
scheduled for Sunday in the best-of-five match competition.
In Saturday's doubles at the eastern provincial city of Chuncheon, South Korea's
Lee Hyung-taik and Im Kyu-tae lost to China's Zeng Shaoxuan and Zhang 5-7, 6-3,
6-7 (5) and 4-6 in a duel that lasted three and a half house.
"We couldn't keep the flow of the game in our favor and blew off a break point at
a critical moment," Lee said. "But I am positive I can win my match on Sunday."
In Sungay's singles, Lee will play Gong Maoxin and Im Kyu-tae will take on Zeng
Shaoxuan.
