HM King performs Eid Al Adha prayers

Manama, June 6 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa performed Eid Al Adha prayers at Al Sakhir Palace Mosque, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Their Highnesses the sons of HM the King, senior members of the Royal Family, ministers, and senior officers from the Bahrain Defence Force, the Ministry of Interior, and the National Guard also performed the prayers. 

Shaikh Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed Al Hajri, Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, delivered a sermon where he highlighted the noble values embedded in Eid Al Adha.

He prayed to Allah the Almighty to bless HM King Hamad with abundant health, happiness and long life to continue leading the Kingdom towards further achievements, security, stability and prosperity.

He also wished Bahrain and its people everlasting safety and progress and prosperity, under the leadership of HM the King.

Following the prayer and the sermon, HM King Hamad exchanged greetings and good wishes with worshippers, wishing the kingdom and its people further blessings and prosperity and the Arab and Islamic nations further progress and prosperity.

On their part, the worshippers expressed their congratulations to HM the King on this occasion, wishing His Majesty continued health and prosperity. 

They also prayed for HM the King’s continued success in leading the Kingdom’s ongoing development and prosperity, reinforcing its national achievements, enhancing its international standing, and fulfilling the aspirations of its people under His Majesty’s visionary leadership.
