Foreign ministers of Japan, China, S. Korea to meet in Beijing+

TOKYO, July 12 Kyodo - The foreign ministers of Japan, China and South Korea will meet in Beijing on July 25 to exchange views on the resumption of the stalled six-way talks on denuclearizing North Korea, sources familiar with the matter said Sunday.

Prior to the trilateral talks, it is expected that the foreign ministers of
Japan, South Korea and the United States will meet in Thailand on the sidelines
of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations Regional Forum on July 23 as part
of efforts to resume the multilateral negotiations on North Korea, according to
the sources.
On Friday, working-level talks between Japan and the United States will be held
in Tokyo to discuss the possibility of holding negotiations involving five of
the six parties -- Japan, China, South Korea, Russia and the United States --
excluding North Korea, the sources said.
