Sunni Endowments Chairman receives Bahrain National Evangelical Church Pastor

Manama, June 15 (BNA):  Dr. Shaikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Futtais Al Hajri, Chairman of the Sunni Waqf Council, received Reverend Hani Aziz, Pastor of the National Evangelical Church of Bahrain.

Dr. Shaikh Al Hajri underscored Bahrain’s longstanding commitment to promoting the values of tolerance and coexistence.  He highlighted the nation’s overall strengthening of values under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the ongoing efforts of the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to strengthen and support this approach.

On his part, Reverend Aziz commended the outstanding efforts of Dr. Shaikh Al Hajri in enhancing communication with all segments of society, promoting the values of tolerance and coexistence, and advancing moderation and balance in religious discourse.
