Shura Council Chairman congratulates AIPU President on 51st anniversary

Manama, June 21 (BNA): Marking the 51st anniversary of the Arab Inter‑Parliamentary Union (AIPU), Ali bin Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of the Shura Council, congratulated Ibrahim Boughali, Speaker of the National People's Assembly of Algeria and President of the AIPU. He commended his efforts to strengthen coordination among Arab legislative bodies.

He also lauded Dr. Ahmed bin Alawi Baabood, AIPU Secretary General, for his contributions to developing the Union’s operations and supporting Arab parliamentary collaboration.

Al Saleh highlighted the AIPU’s role in addressing Arab issues and strengthening inter-parliamentary cooperation. He reiterated the Shura Council’s commitment to advancing joint parliamentary action and promoting Arab unity.
