Chair of Saint Petersburg Economic Forum visits Bahrain pavilion

Moscow, June 22 (BNA): Anton Kobyakov, Advisor to His Excellency the President of the Russian Federation and Chair of the Saint Petersburg Economic Forum, visited the Bahrain pavilion at the conclusion of the forum, where the Kingdom of Bahrain was guest of honour. The visit also marked the 35th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom and Russia.
He was received by Ahmed Abdulrahman Al Saati, Ambassador of Bahrain to Russia, who expressed appreciation to the organisers for providing Bahrain with the opportunity to present areas of bilateral cooperation. He also highlighted the participation of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, and his meetings with HE President Vladimir Putin and senior officials in Moscow, which have contributed to enhancing the close ties between the two countries and opening new avenues for cooperation that serve their mutual interests.
On his part, Kobyakov commended Bahrain’s strong participation in the forum, which attracted great interest from attendees, who expressed admiration for the Kingdom’s progress and its promising opportunities for cooperation in various economic and commercial domains. He noted that the signing of 14 agreements and memoranda of cooperation between sectors in both countries during the forum is clear evidence of the growing relations, which continues to receive strong support from the leaders of both nations.
