Foreign Minister holds call with Jordanian Deputy Prime Minister

Manama, June 22 (BNA): Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a phone call with Ayman Al Safadi, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriate Affairs of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.

The ministers discussed current regional developments and their impact on security and stability. Both sides emphasised the importance of joint efforts and international action to reduce escalation in the region.

They also highlighted the need to promptly resume US-Iran negotiations on the Iranian nuclear programme to maintain peace and stability for the benefit of all peoples in the region.
