Foreign Ministry Undersecretary meets Turkish Foreign Affairs Deputy Minister

Ankara, June 22 (BNA): Ambassador Khaled Yousif Al Jalahma, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political Affairs, met with Nuh Yılmaz, Deputy Minister at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye, on the sidelines of the 51st session of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), held in Istanbul.

The meeting focused on enhancing the longstanding ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Türkiye. They also discussed means to enhance bilateral cooperation across various sectors to serve shared interests. Both sides also exchanged views on key regional and international developments.

Ambassador Al Jalahma emphasised Bahrain’s commitment to advancing its strategic partnership with Türkiye, highlighting the importance of expanding cooperation to support peace and stability in the region.

On his part, Deputy Minister Yılmaz expressed pride in the strong ties between the two countries and looked forward to continued coordination in regional and international arenas.
