HM King issues Law (28) of 2025

Manama, June 23 (BNA):  His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa ratified and issued Law (28) of 2025, approving the agreement between the Government of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Government of the Sultanate of Oman on the elimination of double taxation and the prevention of tax evasion and avoidance concerning income taxes, following approval by the Shura Council and the Council of Representatives.

The agreement, signed in Muscat on January 15, 2025, is attached to the law.

The Prime Minister and ministers, each within their capacity, shall implement the provisions of this law, which shall come into effect the day following its publication in the Official Gazette.
