Bahrain, UAE strengthen regional cooperation in emergency and disaster management

Manama, June 23 (BNA): Lieutenant General Tariq bin Hassan Al Hassan, Chief of Public Security, received Dr. Ali Saeed Al Neyadi, Chairman of the UAE’s National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA).
The meeting aimed at strengthening regional cooperation and sharing expertise in emergency response and logistics.
Lt. Gen. Al Hassan commended the strong ties between Bahrain and the UAE, highlighting the importance of unifying efforts, exchanging best practices, and boosting national preparedness. The visit reflects ongoing coordination between both countries’ agencies and emphasises Gulf solidarity in facing emerging risks.
The discussions focused on advancing strategic partnerships in early warning systems, crisis information exchange, capacity building, and enhancing national readiness for various risks and disasters.
The two sides underscored the importance of joint coordination to ensure effective response, community security, and regional stability.
On his part, Dr. Al Neyadi commended Bahrain’s distinguished civil protection efforts and underscored NCEMA’s commitment to cooperation and knowledge sharing to strengthen regional crisis management capabilities.
