Acting Head of European Affairs Sector participates in first Syrian Partnership Coordination Forum

Manama, July 8 (BNA): Ambassador Ahmed Ibrahim Al Qurainees, Acting Head of the European Affairs Sector at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, participated in the first meeting of the Syria Partnership Coordination Forum.
The meeting was held remotely, with the participation of representatives from the Syrian government, the European Commission, and several regional and international partners.
The meeting was held as part of international efforts to support Syria’s recovery process. The participants in the meeting exchanged views on efforts to strengthen cooperation with the Syrian Arab Republic and enhance coordination of international efforts in the coming phase, in accordance with the guiding principles of the international community.
The forum also addressed joint working mechanisms and means to strengthen coordination among various partners to ensure an effective response to developmental needs and to promote opportunities for sustainable recovery.
The meeting concluded by affirming the importance of continuing constructive dialogue and cooperation between Syria and its partners to support stability and development in the region.
