ICAIRE Receives Excellence Recognition Through AI Olympiad Project

   Riyadh, July 08, 2025, SPA -- The International Center for Artificial Intelligence Research and Ethics (ICAIRE), a UNESCO Category II Center based in Riyadh, has been awarded a Certificate of Excellence in recognition of its outstanding contribution to the inaugural International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad (IAIO), held in September 2024. The award was presented during the closing ceremony of the Global AI Summit in Geneva, marking a pivotal moment in ICAIRE’s journey to advance ethical and inclusive AI on a global scale.
   This recognition comes at a time of growing momentum for ICAIRE.
   The inaugural IAIO, co-organized by ICAIRE and the International Research Center on Artificial Intelligence (IRCAI) in Slovenia, brought together 90 young AI talents from 25 countries to compete in advanced AI disciplines, including machine learning, robotics, and computer vision. The event emphasized both technical excellence and ethical awareness, aligning with ICAIRE’s mission to foster responsible innovation.
