Laos draws map of Lao-Thai boundary
(KPL) Mr Bounkeuth Sangsomsak, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs visited Sanakham and Muen district, Vientiane province, to supervise the marking of the boundary between Laos and Thailand from 1 to 3 July.
During his visit, Mr Bounkeut talked with the technical officials of the Laos-Thai implementation boards on drafting a master plan and to fine tune the technical details of the survey work and border demarcation work along the Lao side of the Mekong
River.
Mr Bounkeuth also talked with the local authorities of Sanakham and Muen districts regarding the determination of border demarcations against the backdrop of the France-Siam convention.
