RHF Secretary General celebrates 24 years since foundation

Manama, July 14 (BNA): Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Secretary-General of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF), expressed his pride in the 24th anniversary of the Decree issued by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the honourary president of the RHF, which established the Orphan Sponsorship Committee that later evolved into the RHF.
Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa highlighted that this national occasion laid the foundations of a solid humanitarian approach to caring for orphans and widows, in line with a comprehensive royal vision for charitable and humanitarian work in the Kingdom.
The Secretary-General emphasised that this historic decision had a significant impact on the development of an integrated institutional system dedicated to the care of orphans and widows, built on values of compassion, solidarity, and social justice. He noted that since its inception, the RHF has succeeded in empowering thousands of beneficiaries to live with dignity by providing comprehensive care in areas such as education, health, and life skills development.
Shaikh Ali bin Khalifa underscored the Foundation’s unwavering commitment to following the path laid out by His Majesty the King with the support of the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and the guidance of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees.
The Foundation aims to deliver the best services and expand its areas of care in line with the hopes and aspirations of orphans and widows, looking forward to a brighter and more sustainable future for humanitarian work in Bahrain and beyond.
