Buraidah Participates in 2025 International Cities of Gastronomy Fest Macao

Macao, July 14, 2025, SPA -- Representing Saudi Arabia's rich culinary heritage, Buraidah—recognized as a UNESCO Creative Cities Network (UCCN)—has joined the 2025 International Cities of Gastronomy Fest Macao, which kicked off on Friday in Macao and runs through July 20.
Buraidah's participation aims to showcase how it integrates cultural heritage and creativity into its development strategies while reaffirming its global standing as a creative city within the UNESCO network.
Governor of Qassim Region and Head of the Executive Office for Managing the Creative Buraidah City Dr. Faisal bin Mishaal bin Saud bin Abdulaziz underscored the importance of such international engagements. He emphasized their role in reinforcing the Kingdom's positive global image and in highlighting the tangible outcomes of Saudi Vision 2030—particularly in empowering the tourism and hospitality sectors and creating broader opportunities for cultural and commercial exchange.
Buraidah's delegation highlights the city's efforts to empower chefs and cultural artists, support productive families, and enhance quality of life in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
