HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa witnesses McLaren securing first and second place at the Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix 2025

Budapest, Aug. 3 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, accompanied by His Excellency Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat), attended the 2025 Formula 1 Hungarian Grand Prix, where McLaren secured a remarkable first and second place.

The one-two victory at the Hungarian Circuit in Budapest marks a significant milestone for McLaren, a team owned by Mumtalakat, the sovereign wealth fund of the Kingdom of Bahrain.

On the occasion, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman extended his heartfelt congratulations to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

His Highness commended McLaren’s outstanding performance, highlighting that the victory reinforces the Kingdom of Bahrain’s leadership and expanding prominence in global motorsports.
