GASTAT Reports 97.7% Internet Access Among Establishments in Saudi Arabia in 2023

Riyadh, August 04, 2025, SPA -- The General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT) revealed today that 97.7% of establishments in Saudi Arabia have internet access, according to its 2023 report on Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Access and Usage Statistics.
   The report also showed that 91.3% of establishments used the internet for e-government services, including accessing and downloading information as well as completing electronic transactions with government entities. Social media usage among establishments was recorded at 57.7%.
   According to GASTAT, the survey on ICT access and usage in Saudi establishments provides reliable data aligned with international standards, supporting the Kingdom's digital transformation goals and enhancing global competitiveness. The survey follows unified global standards to ensure data accuracy and quality, strengthening its alignment with digital transformation requirements at both national and international levels.
