Late President Souphanouvong’s pictures presented
(KPL) The Government gave two pictures of late President Souphanouvong, made by soft stone to Party Central Office in the commemoration of 100th anniversary birthday of late President Souphanouvong.
The pictures were handed over by Mr Chueng Sombounkhanh, Minister to Prime Minister’s Office, Head of Cabinet Secretariat, to Mr Somvandy Sisavath, Deputy Head of Party Central Office and Director of Khaisone Phomvihane Museum, in the presence of both side officials, on 11 July, Vientiane. These pictures would display at late President Souphanouvong’s Commemorative Sites.
The first picture is 110 cm X 90 cm late President Souphanouvong and late President Ho Chin Minh of Vietnam taking photo together and Second one is 120 cm X 100 cm late President Souphanouvong which was curved by a Vietnamese company of Fine Art and Technology Development. This is a gift given by Vietnamese Government in a bid for strengthening the existing special solidarity between Laos and Vietnam.
