Health Minister receives Ambassador of Uzbekistan

Manama, Aug. 7 (BNA): Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayyed Jawad Hasan, Minister of Health, received Nodirjon Turgunov, Ambassador of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the Kingdom of Bahrain, resident in Riyadh.

The Health Minister emphasised the importance of the cooperative relations between Bahrain and Uzbekistan, highlighting the commitment to further develop joint work, especially in the health sector.

On his part, Ambassador Turgunov expressed his commitment to enhance bilateral cooperation in the coming period to support the aspirations and interests of both countries.

Both sides also discussed several topics of mutual interest.
