Government Hospitals finalise programme for Colorectal Surgery Conference

Manama, Aug. 10 (BNA): The organising and scientific committees of the Bahrain Colorectal Surgery Conference are finalising preparations for the event, to be held on September 25–26, organised by Government Hospitals Administration in cooperation with "Education Plus".

Dr. Israa Sami, Conference Chairperson and Consultant in General and Colorectal Surgery at Government Hospitals, said the conference aims to promote continuous medical education and enhance the quality of healthcare services in Bahrain.

She noted that the programme will address recent advances in colorectal surgery, including minimally invasive techniques, treatments for colorectal cancers, management of inflammatory bowel diseases, and the role of precision surgery in maintaining patients’ quality of life.

Dr. Sami added that selected research papers and presentations will highlight new innovations and clinical trials, with participation from leading speakers from Bahrain and abroad, offering a platform to exchange expertise and discuss global best practices.
