Council of Representatives participates in third meeting of GCC Supreme Council Advisory Body

Manama, Aug. 14 (BNA): MPs Ahmed Al Salloom, Chairman of the Financial and Economic Affairs Committee, and Hasan Eid BuKhammas, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs, Defence and National Security Committee, participated remotely in the third meeting of the Advisory Body of the GCC Supreme Council’s 28th session.
They underscored Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening parliamentary work as a pillar for sustainable development, under the directives of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and to advancing legislation to keep pace with economic, political, and social changes.
The meeting discussed enhancing legislative performance, coordination among committees, and supporting laws that serve economic, social, and national security goals, as part of the Advisory Body’s regular sessions to review key issues and follow up on recommendations.
