 Pyongyang, August 21 (KCNA) -- Nowadays, hot weather persists in the DPRK. Therefore, the people are looking for soft drinks in shops, restaurants and outdoor stalls.
Among them is ice cream with the trademark of "Taesongsan" which is popular among the people and children.
The Taesongsan Ice Cream Factory produces sweet goods with original taste and quality including grape-flavored ice cream, strawberry-flavored ice cream and peach-flavored ice cream.
The modern factory is associated with the warm loving care of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is devoting his all to the promotion of the people's wellbeing.
One day in August, 2019, he proposed the building of a factory specializing in producing good-quality ice cream. He named the Taesongsan Ice Cream Factory and selected its site in a place with good sanitary environment and water quality and gave detailed guidance to its internal and external layout and emblem design.
At major Party meetings, he gave instructions on speeding up the construction of the factory and making the people benefit from it and guided the whole course of the construction.
He also paid deep attention to the production equipment and management and provided a foundation for keeping the production going at a high rate by forming powerful technical forces.
True to his noble intention, the factory develops and produces tasty and nutritious goods, contributing to improving the people's living standard.
The factory has directed efforts to developing products with high quality and hygienic safety by relying on science and technology to update the cream production line.
It has established an integrated production management system and put production sites on germ-free and dust-free basis.
Several goods such as ice cream produced by the factory were registered as February 2 goods (quality product) last year. -0-
