Youth Minister, Kurdistan Foundation delegation visit Youth City 2030

Manama, Aug. 22 (BNA): Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs, visited Youth City 2030, with a delegation from the Kurdistan Foundation, where she reviewed its programmes and facilities.
During the tour, the minister highlighted the initiative’s role as a pioneering regional platform for equipping young people with leadership, entrepreneurial and creative skills, noting the strong international interest it continues to attract. She stressed that this reflects the effectiveness of Bahrain’s youth development policies and the Kingdom’s standing as an inspiring model in the field.
The visiting delegation, led by Dr. Yara Barzanji, Director General of the Foundation, was briefed on the city’s specialised centres, including those focused on leadership and entrepreneurship, science and technology, arts and culture, health and sports, as well as media and entertainment. They also viewed a number of innovative projects in youth entrepreneurship and volunteer engagement.
Dr. Barzanji praised Youth City 2030 as an outstanding initiative that contributes meaningfully to preparing new generations for the future. She expressed the Kurdistan Foundation’s interest to build on this visit by fostering closer partnerships with Bahrain in youth development and strengthening opportunities for knowledge exchange.
