Education Level Improved in Rural Schools of South Hwanghae Province

Pyongyang, August 24 (KCNA) -- South Hwanghae Province in the DPRK is taking measures to improve the education level of rural schools in the forefront, mountainous area and on islands.
Competent teachers from the university of education and the teachers training college went to dozens of schools and gave short courses in combination with their education practice, thus helping the educators recognize new teaching methods.
Haeju Kim Jong Thae University of Education is directing efforts to selecting teachers and improving their qualities so that they can make active use of teaching methods suited to the psychological characteristics of students according to their age while providing experimental apparatuses and demonstration tools of dozens of types to increase the effectiveness of the short course.
Haeju Jo Ok Hui Teachers Training College has prepared performers for the short course who can answer the questions arising during lesson and made them teach good experience they gained during their education practice. -0-
