IsDB Group’s International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation Holds Workshops in Tajikistan

     Jeddah, August 24, 2025, SPA -- The International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), a member of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) Group, organized a series of workshops in cooperation with Tajikistan’s Ministry of Economic Development and Trade to advance Islamic finance through successful knowledge exchange between the IsDB Group and the Republic of Tajikistan.
   More than 50 trainees from financial institutions and government agencies took part in the workshops, aimed at developing and strengthening Islamic trade finance through Shariah-compliant principles and building professional capacities in the Islamic finance sector to serve communities in member states practicing Islamic banking.
   The ITFC expressed pride in delivering these programs, building targeted capacities for member states, and developing financial instruments and integrated financing solutions.
   The workshops form part of the broader ITFC efforts to support member states, advance their economic development, and contribute to achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
