High-tech Product Developed by Nampho Municipal Science and Technology Committee

 Pyongyang, August 28 (KCNA) -- Researchers of the Nampho Municipal Science and Technology Committee in the DPRK developed a broad-spectrum insecticide which is high effective in preventing damage by forest insects, according to Rodong Sinmun.
This broad-spectrum insecticide is of great economic value as it can effectively exterminate major pests occurring in forests without negative effect on the ecological environment.
Very positive was the result of the introduction of the insecticide into stamping out the forest insects in Nampho Municipality and other regions.
The broad-spectrum insecticide with great economic benefit was registered as a high-tech product this year.
A research into introducing the broad-spectrum insecticide into grain, fruit and vegetable fields is under way. -0-
