Nominations for King Faisal Prize Now Open

   Riyadh, September 01, 2025, SPA -- The General Secretariat of King Faisal Prize announced today that it welcomes nominations to the 2027 award in its five categories: Service to Islam, Islamic Studies, Arabic Language and Literature, Medicine, and Science.
   Secretary General of King Faisal Prize Dr. Abdulaziz Alsebail pointed out that the subjects for the prize’s categories for the year 2026 are as follows: Islamic Studies: Contemporary Applied Jurisprudential Studies, Arabic Language and Literature: Institutional Efforts in Arabic Language Processing, Medicine: Artificial Intelligence in Clinical Medicine, and Science: Chemistry.
   He highlighted that the Service to Islam prize is an honorary award bestowed on those whose goodwill efforts have immensely served Islam, Muslims, and humanity as a whole.
   Nominations for the prize will be accepted over a seven-month period, commencing September 1 and ending March 31, 2026. Nominations can be submitted by academic and scientific institutions as well as research centers. They can be sent via postal mail, email: Nominations@kingfaisalprize.org, or through the prize’s nomination portal at www.kingfaisalprize.org/nominations.
