HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister arrives in the Arab Republic of Egypt

Cairo, Sep. 2 (BNA): His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, today arrived in the Arab Republic of Egypt on an official visit.
During the visit, His Royal Highness will meet with His Excellency Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of Egypt, and several senior officials to explore avenues for advancing the deep-rooted bilateral relationship and expanding cooperation and strategic partnerships across key sectors in line with shared goals and interests.
Upon arrival, HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister was received by His Excellency Dr Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt, along with several senior officials.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad expressed pride in the historic ties between Bahrain and Egypt, as well as the diverse multi-sectoral collaboration.
His Royal Highness noted that this visit reflects the Kingdom’s commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations, under the support of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad commended the progress and development achieved by Egypt under the leadership of HE Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
His Royal Highness also conveyed his support for Egypt’s honourable stances and its pivotal role in supporting Arab causes and advancing joint Arab efforts to achieve mutual development aspirations.
HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad was accompanied by an official delegation which included HE Dr Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, Minister of Foreign Affairs, HE Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy, HE Noor bint Ali Al-Khulaif, Minister of Sustainable Development, Chief Executive of the Bahrain Economic Development Board (EDB), HE Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, Ambassador of Bahrain to Egypt, HE Colonel Shaikh Ahmed bin Isa Al Khalifa, escort officer to HRH the Crown Prince, His Excellency Isa bin Abdul Rahman Al Hammadi, Advisor for Communication Affairs at the Court of the Crown Prince, Hamad Yaqoob Al Mahmeed, Director General of the Prime Minister’s Office, as well as other senior officials.
