Egyptian Ambassador: Egyptian–Bahraini relations are model of cooperative partnership

Manama, Sep. 3 (BNA): Reham Abdelhamid Mahmoud Khalil, Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom of Bahrain, describing it as a model of cooperative partnership.
She noted that the recent visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to Egypt reinforced bilateral ties, focusing on expanding economic and trade cooperation in key sectors such as energy, industry, tourism, logistics, and finance.
The visit resulted in the signing of several agreements and memoranda of understanding aimed at advancing joint economic and developmental cooperation. The Ambassador highlighted the significant role of the private sector in supporting shared economic growth.
She emphasised the importance of unity and collective efforts in facing current regional challenges and underlined Egypt’s continued coordination with Bahrain and other Arab states in international and regional forums, particularly concerning the Palestinian issue and regional stability.
The Ambassador concluded by confirming that relations between Egypt and Bahrain represent a strong example of Arab solidarity and collaboration, with a promising outlook for further cooperation and shared achievements.
