Bahraini Ambassador to Egypt: HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister’s visit to Egypt marks key step to enhance Bahrain–Egypt cooperation

Cairo, Sep. 3 (BNA): Fawzia bint Abdullah Zainal, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Arab Republic of Egypt, said the official visit of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, marked a key step in enhancing the longstanding Bahrain-Egypt relation and initiated a new phase of strategic cooperation.

She highlighted that HRH’s meetings with His Excellency Abdel Fattah El Sisi, President of Egypt, and His Excellency Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of Egypt, reflected deep strategic ties and mutual trust, with positive outcomes expected in political, economic, investment, and development sectors.

The Bahrain-Egypt Business Forum held during the visit opened new opportunities for economic and trade partnerships, supported joint investment, and resulted in signed agreements to boost bilateral cooperation.

The visit reiterated Egypt’s vital role in Arab security and regional stability. Both countries shared views on Arab and international issues, especially emphasising a just solution to the Palestinian cause, protecting civilians, and supporting Gaza’s relief and reconstruction.

Ambassador Zainal expressed pride in the Bahrain-Egypt ties under the leadership of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HE President El Sisi, and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The next phase will see expanded cooperation and new strategic partnerships for shared development and prosperity.
