Nasser bin Hamad: Charity work is a way of life that reflects Bahrain's humanitarian values

Manama, Sept. 4 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Representative of His Majesty the King for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, affirmed that Bahrain has established a pioneering humanitarian approach at the local and international levels by extending a helping hand to all beneficiaries of humanitarian support programs under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Honorary President of the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, with the follow-up of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, which earned the Kingdom appreciation and respect in various international forums.

On the occasion of the International Day of Charity, His Highness said that this day is an opportunity to appreciate all those who dedicate their lives to serving others and continue to do good in the most difficult circumstances, believing in the values of humanitarian giving and community solidarity, and seeking to play a prominent role in supporting sustainable development and preserving human dignity.

His Highness added that the Royal Humanitarian Foundation, as the Bahrain’s foremost charitable institution, is keen to carry out its mission with efficiency and excellence through comprehensive care and empowerment of orphans, widows, and other beneficiary groups, as well as implementing development initiatives and urgent relief projects, in line with the values of Islam, humanitarian duty, and the national mission.

His Highness added that charity work is not an occasion, but rather a way of life that we are keen to instill in our generations, thereby consolidating Bahrain's leading position in charity work and humanitarian service worldwide.

His Highness called on all those working in charity to be good ambassadors for Bahrain and role models in their work, embodying the humanitarian mission.
