Minister of Culture, French Counterpart Sign Program for Cultural Cooperation in Paris

Paris, September 5, 2025, SPA -- Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan met Thursday at the Palace of Versailles with French Minister of Culture Rachida Dati. The meeting on the sidelines of the Orchestral Masterpieces Concert in Paris came during his official visit to France to enhance the existing cultural cooperation between the two friendly countries.
The minister of culture and his French counterpart signed an executive program for cultural cooperation between the Ministry of Culture and the Grand Palais, represented by the French Ministry of Culture.
The meeting addressed cultural relations in various sectors, most notably music, film, heritage, museums, fashion, libraries, theater and performing arts, and visual arts. This included activating the executive program between the Film Commission and the French National Centre of Cinema (CNC) to develop educational methods for filmmaking.
Meeting participants discussed the executive programs signed during the visit of French Republic President Emmanuel Macron to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in December 2024. These programs aim to enhance international cultural exchange and expand the horizons of the growing cultural partnership between the Kingdom and France.
The meeting was attended by several officials.
