Saudi Arabia Participates in 20th AKF Congress

   Riyadh, September 5, 2025, SPA -- Saudi Arabia, represented by Saudi Karate Federation President Dr. Musharraf Al-Shehri, participated in the 20th Asian Karate Federation (AKF) Congress, held Thursday in Shaoguan, China
   The meeting was attended by 27 national federations and was opened with a speech by Asian Federation Vice President Rashid Al-Ali, in the presence of the World Karate Federation President Antonio Espinos. The speech praised the achievements of member national federations in 2025.
   The congress discussed the federation's 2026 agenda, which includes programs for upcoming Asian championships and the Asian Games. On the sidelines of the congress, Dr. Al-Shehri also took part in a meeting of the Asian Karate Federation's office, where the 2026 agenda was adopted and the federation's administrative and technical reports were discussed.
