Museums Commission to Host Exhibition on Saudi Arabia’s Coin Legacy in Riyadh

   Riyadh, September 08, 2025, SPA -- The Museums Commission will launch the Minted Narratives: Saudi Arabia's Legacy in Coins exhibition at the National Museum in Riyadh's Al-Murabba district, running from September 17 to December 16, 2025.
   This exhibition offers a visual and historical journey spanning over 1,300 years, documenting the evolution of coins in the Kingdom from the pre-Islamic era to the modern Saudi riyal, reflecting national identity and the country's historical and economic transformations. It features a rare collection of historical coins, alongside contemporary artworks inspired by the symbolism of money, all presented within an innovative design.
   Divided into seven sections, the exhibition highlights various aspects of coins and their cultural significance. The Minted Narratives exhibition aligns with the commission's mission to preserve national heritage and enhance the Kingdom's cultural presence globally, supporting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030 to foster a knowledgeable and culturally rooted society.
