Pezeshkian hails historic ties with Tajikistan on its Independence Day

Tehran, IRNA – President Masoud Pezeshkian has highlighted the importance of the fraternal, cultural, and historical ties between the Iranian and Tajik nations as a valuable foundation for enhanced cooperation across various fields.

In a message to his Tajik counterpart, Emomali Rahmon, on Monday, Pezeshkian congratulated him on the 34th anniversary of Tajikistan’s Independence Day.

He emphasized that the fraternal, cultural, and historical ties between the Iranian and Tajik nations serve as a valuable foundation for expanding cooperation in various fields.

Pezeshkian added, “I am confident that, with the mutual willingness of both countries, their friendly relations will continue to develop and deepen.

The president said he hoped to see further expansion of bilateral relations aligned with shared interests.
