It also commended the commitment of Gulf parliament leaders and representatives to comprehensive and inclusive cooperation, through continued joint work, coordination meetings and sessions that support constructive engagement with Asian parliaments and facilitate the exchange of views on issues discussed across parliamentary forums.
The meeting aligned Gulf parliamentary perspectives on the APA Economic Affairs and Sustainable Development Committee agenda, including the Asian energy market, environmental issues, economic growth, sustainable development goals, climate finance, poverty eradication, and water and sanitation. The coordination meetings aim to advance Gulf parliamentary diplomacy, strengthen cooperation within the APA, and serve the interests of both Gulf peoples and the wider Asian continent.
