BTEA announces events to mark 95th Saudi National Day

Manama, Sep. 9 (BNA): The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) announced the launch of its tourism campaign entitled "Manawwara Bshoofatkom" in celebration of the 95th Saudi National Day, which falls on September 23, reflecting the depth of the ties between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.
Sara Ahmed Buhejji, CEO of BTEA, emphasised that the historical Bahrain–Saudi ties are rooted in shared history and solid bonds, with forward-looking visions that seek to broaden cooperation and strengthen integration to the benefit of both countries and their peoples.
She noted that the campaign is an opportunity to further strengthen these ties while offering diverse tourism experiences that reflect authentic Bahraini hospitality, enriching the stay of Saudi visitors and other tourists, and reinforcing Bahrain’s position as a distinguished tourism destination.
This year’s campaign presents a varied programme of cultural, entertainment and artistic events for all family members throughout September. Highlights include concerts and performances such as Tamer Hosny at the Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Centre on September 19, comedy by John Ashkar at the Sheraton Hotel on September 18, the international show by Bill Burr on September 25 at Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB), and two performances by Saad Al Oud on September 25-26 at the Cultural Hall.
Shopping malls, including City Centre Bahrain, The Avenues, and Marassi Galleria, will host traditional shows and folk performances from September 23-27. Additional events include cultural and heritage activities at Dragon City, handicraft workshops at Al Jasra Handicrafts Centre and Bani Jamra Textile Factory, and programmes at the Bahrain National Museum and Pearling Path, underscoring the BTEA's commitment to providing an integrated tourism experience combining entertainment, culture and heritage.
To enrich the visitor experience and attract more tourists, BTEA has also launched 40 special tourism packages in cooperation with hotels and resorts. These include discounts on accommodation, special dining offers, and leisure activities such as boat tours, diving and pearl diving trips, and visits to key heritage and tourism landmarks.
