Bahrain participates in AALCO annual session

Kampala, Sep. 9 (BNA): Ambassador Dr. Yousif Abdulkareem Bucheeri, Director General of Legal Affairs and Human Rights at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, headed Bahrain’s delegation to the 63rd annual session of the Asian-African Legal Consultative Organisation (AALCO), held in Kampala, Uganda.

He underscored Bahrain’s commitment to international law, multilateral cooperation, and sustainable development, highlighting the role of international law in consolidating peace and security.

The session, inaugurated under the patronage of His Excellency Yoweri Museveni, President of Uganda, highlighted the importance of solidarity between Asia and Africa to address global challenges, including climate change, conflicts, technological shifts, and economic disparities.
