HM King receives HH UAE President on arrival in Bahrain

Manama, Sep. 10 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, on arrival in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

Also present were His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Personal Representative of His Majesty the King; His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs; and His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, President of the General Sports Authority and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee, along with a number of senior officials.

Following the reception, His Majesty the King and His Highness the UAE President proceeded to Sakhir Palace.

Accompanying His Highness the UAE President during the visit was a delegation including His Highness Lieutenant General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, His Highness Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Martyrs’ Families Affairs; Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Advisor to the UAE President; Ali bin Hammad Al Shamsi, Secretary-General of the Supreme Council for National Security; Dr. Ahmed Mubarak Ali Al Mazrouei, Chairman of the President’s Office for Strategic Affairs and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office; His Excellency Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, Faisal Abdulaziz Al Bannai, Adviser to the UAE President for Strategic Research and Advanced Technology Affairs; and His Excellency Fahad Al Ameri, UAE Ambassador to Bahrain, and senior officials.
