The meeting was attended by Their Highnesses the sons of His Majesty the King and a number of senior officials from both sides.

His Majesty the King and the UAE President discussed the longstanding relations between the two countries and means of further developing bilateral cooperation, coordination, and constructive joint action to serve their shared interests. They highlighted their pride in the deep-rooted and steadfast relations between the two countries and their peoples.

The two leaders also discussed recent regional developments following the recent Israeli attack on the State of Qatar. Additionally, HM the King and HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed discussed regional and international topics of mutual concern, exchanging views on developments in the Middle East, particularly the situation in the occupied Palestinian territories.

The two leaders emphasised the two countries’ steadfast support of the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people and the importance of reinforcing regional stability and security through a clear path to a lasting, comprehensive, and just peace based on the two-state solution, which they described as the sole means to achieve regional stability in the interest of all peoples and nations.
