Saudi-German Partnership Launched to Export 1,200 Tons of Dates

   Madinah, September 10, 2025, SPA -- Under the patronage of Madinah Region Governor Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, a local industrial company, affiliated with the Takaful Charity Association for Orphan Care, signed a cooperation agreement with German company Deutsche FoodUp GmbH during the “That Nakhal Forum for Premium Dates,” which brought together a distinguished group of experts, farmers, producers, and investors in the dates sector.
   The agreement provides for the export of the first batch from the orphans’ palm endowment project, amounting to more than 1,200 tons of dates.
   The initiative represents a strategic step to enhance the financial sustainability of the Takaful Charitable Association for Orphans Care, as the proceeds from the endowment project are allocated to the care of orphans in Madinah.
   The project is considered one of the Kingdom’s most prominent innovative endowment initiatives, comprising more than 200,000 palm trees distributed across 11 endowment farms spanning an area of nearly 15 million square meters, with an annual production of about 700 tons.
