HH the Amir receives several phone calls from prominent officials, leaders

Doha, September 11 (QNA) - His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani received several phone calls today from His Excellency Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, President of the sisterly Republic of Iraq, His Excellency Gustavo Petro, President of the friendly Republic of Colombia, and His Excellency Mr. António Guterres, Secretary-General of the United Nations, separately.

 

 

 

HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call Thursday from HE President Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid of the sisterly Republic of Iraq.

During the call, HE the Iraqi President expressed his strong condemnation of the brutal Israeli attack targeting the residential buildings housing Hamas leaders in Doha, considering it a clear violation of international law and the sovereignty of the State of Qatar.

HE the President affirmed his country's absolute solidarity and full support for the State of Qatar in all its measures.

For his part, HH the Amir affirmed during the call that the State of Qatar will take all necessary measures to protect its security and territorial integrity, considering this attack a disregard for the lives of innocent people and a serious violation that undermines security and stability in the region and the world.

During the call, HH the Amir expressed his thanks and appreciation to HE the Iraqi President and the brotherly people of Iraq for their sincere feelings and appreciated solidarity with the State of Qatar and its people. (QNA)

During the call, HE the Colombian President affirmed his full solidarity with the State of Qatar, considering the treacherous Israeli attack a cowardly act, especially as it targeted sites hosting peace talks, which hinders peace efforts in the region and the achievement of a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.

For his part, HH the Amir affirmed that the State of Qatar will take all measures to protect its security and territorial integrity, and maintain its sovereignty in the face of the treacherous Israeli attack.

HH the Amir expressed his thanks and appreciation to HE the President and the friendly Colombian people for their sincere feelings and appreciated solidarity with the State of Qatar and its people. (QNA)

 

HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani received a phone call today from HE Secretary-General of the United Nations Antonio Guterres.

During the call, HE the UN Secretary-General affirmed his solidarity with the State of Qatar and his deep concern over the Israeli attack on the city of Doha, saying it was a flagrant violation of all international laws and norms and a serious threat to the security of the State of Qatar and the countries of the region.

The Secretary-General stressed that everyone must work to achieve a permanent ceasefire, rather than destroying the paths leading to it.

For his part, HH the Amir affirmed that the State of Qatar will take all necessary measures to protect its security and territorial integrity, adding that this treacherous attack had complete disregard for the lives of innocent people and a serious violation that undermines security and stability in the region and the world.

During the call, His Highness also expressed his thanks to the UN Secretary-General for his sincere feelings and appreciated solidarity with the State of Qatar and its people. (QNA)
