Protection of rights and interests of Kyrgyzstani children discussed in Tashkent

Tashkent, Sept. 12, 2025/Kabar/. Asel Chynbaeva, the Commissioner for Children's Rights, presented the country's initiatives in the field of protecting the rights and interests of children at an international forum held in the capital of Uzbekistan. The press service of the Embassy of Kyrgyzstan in Tashkent reports.

The main goal of the forum is to create a regional cooperation platform for children's ombudsmen of Central Asian countries. The forum discussed issues of exchanging experiences, jointly solving common problems, ensuring security in the digital environment, and preventing all forms of violence against children.

In her speech, Asel Chynbaeva noted that in recent years a legislative and institutional framework for protecting children's rights has been created in Kyrgyzstan. She highlighted the main areas of the National Action Plan for the Protection of Children's Rights for 2025-2028, which includes measures to prevent violence, support children with disabilities, and improve access to education and health.

According to analysts, the initiative to create a regional platform for the protection of children's rights is consistent with the decisions taken within the framework of the consultative meetings of the heads of state of Central Asia.
