New Woodland Developed in DPRK
Pyongyang, September 15 (KCNA) -- According to Rodong Sinmun, the Forest Complex 121 of the DPRK developed the promising new woodland in the area of Chongsan Pass.
The woodland is the largest among the woodlands developed by the complex in recent years.
In mid-May, a survey was made on the whole mountains, including the distribution of trees and topography.
The basic data on drawing designs was secured for 10-odd days.
On this basis, the complex has pushed ahead with the work to arrange forest roads, dormitories and timber yard in conformity with the conditions of mountain region.
The forest roads were paved with the involvement of trucks, bulldozers and tractors.
Officials and workers of the complex are putting spurs to the drive for finishing the preparatory construction in a short span of time and starting production. -0-
