Riyadh, September 15, 2025, SPA -- On the sidelines of Money 20/20 Middle East, Governor of the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) Ayman Al-Sayari met today with Governor of the Central Bank of Syria Dr. Abdulkader Husrieh, to explore the scope of cooperation in financial services.
   During the meeting, both sides discussed several topics of mutual interest, such as technical support and training related to banking supervision, fintech, payments, and monetary policy, as well as cooperation in regulating remittance transfers and strengthening supervision in the financial sector. The governors agreed to exchange communication and visits.
   In addition, Dr. Husrieh held bilateral meetings with senior officials from Saudi banks, exploring the scope of cooperation with the banking sector in Saudi Arabia.
