Kosan Combined Fruit Farm

Pyongyang, September 17 (KCNA) -- The Kosan Combined Fruit Farm in Kosan County, Kangwon Province of the DPRK has a rich crop of fruits this year, too.
Thanks to the devoted efforts of the employees of the farm who tended fruit trees with sincerity since the beginning of the year, the trees of the orchards at the foot of Chol Pass were heavy loaded with fruits.
The farm paid primary attention to solving the sci-tech problems arising in sapling production suited to the climatic and soil conditions and actively introduced various advanced technologies, thus providing a guarantee for producing high-yielding and tasty fruits.
The farm is associated with the love and benevolence of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who dedicated himself to providing the people with enough tasty and nutritious fruits.
One day in September 2016, when visiting the farm, 
Kim Jong Un said that apples of various varieties produced at the farm are good in color and sweet in taste, adding that the people would be pleased if the apples harvested this year were sent to them.
Seeing the vehicles and forklifts provided by the Workers' Party of Korea, he said that he would send more modern fruit farming machines including power sprayers to the farm.
He expressed expectation and belief that the employees would turn the farm into a standard one suited to the appearance of a highly civilized socialist nation and a fruit farm to be proud of before the world and bring about a fresh leap forward in fruit production every year.
True to the noble intention of the Party, the farm sends apples, peaches, plums and other fruits to Wonsan and Munchon cities, Kosong and other counties of the province. -0-
