Oil Minister receives Ta'ayush Chairman

Manama, Sep. 16 (BNA): Dr. Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Dainah, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, received Yousef Muhammad Bozboun, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Bahrain Society for Tolerance and Coexistence of Religions (Ta’ayush), along with several society members.

During the meeting, the Minister underscored that the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the guidance of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, continues to uphold its commitment to tolerance and coexistence, while promoting respect for religious and cultural diversity.

Dr. bin Dainah highlighted the society’s role in fostering constructive dialogue among different religions and cultures, reflecting Bahrain’s civilisational heritage. He also noted the importance of continuing to strengthen cooperation with civil society institutions to achieve shared objectives.

The society presented the Minister with a copy of its publication, “In the Hospitality of the King of Peace”, which documents the pioneering initiatives of His Majesty the King in promoting tolerance and coexistence, further solidifying Bahrain’s status as a regional and international beacon of peace, cultural diversity, and human values.

On his part, Bozboun thanked the Minister for his continued support of the society’s efforts to promote coexistence and tolerance, and to highlight Bahrain’s positive image on the regional and global stage.
