Bahrain welcomes UK, Canada, Australia, and Portugal announcement of recognising Palestine

Manama, Sep. 22 (BNA): The Kingdom of Bahrain welcomed the announcement by the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and Portugal of their recognition of the State of Palestine.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasised that the Kingdom considers this a pivotal initiative to advance regional and international efforts to achieve a two-state solution in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions, reviving the peace process in the Middle East, and guaranteeing the legitimate right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state.
