Wonsan Kalma Cooking Festival-2025 Opens in DPRK

Pyongyang, September 23 (KCNA) -- The Wonsan Kalma Cooking Festival-2025 opened at the Wonsan Kalma coastal tourist area under the sponsorship of the Central Committee of the Korean Association of Cooks.
The festival brought together more than 100 units from the sectors of the Guidance Bureau of Public Catering Service, Pyongyang and provincial (municipal) public catering service, external service, ministries and national agencies and service sector of the Wonsan Kalma coastal tourist area.
Present at the opening ceremony held on September 22 were officials concerned, cooks and waiters and waitresses in the sector of public catering service.
During the festival there will be a famous dish and local specialty dish exhibition, instant food service contest, demonstration of excellent cooks and waiters and waitresses and a cooking exhibition in the service sector of the Wonsan Kalma coastal tourist area in various forms and methods. -0-
