Saudi Arabia Showcases Internal Audit Achievements at Japan Conference

   Riyadh, September 25, 2025, SPA -- The Saudi Authority of Internal Auditors participated in an internal audit conference today in Japan, joining a distinguished group of international leaders and experts.
   This participation reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen professional cooperation between the authority and its international and regional counterparts. The conference serves as a platform to showcase Saudi Arabia’s successful experiences in key areas, including oversight, governance, transparency, and compliance.
   During the event, CEO of the Saudi Authority for Internal Auditors Abdullah Al-Shebeili emphasized the importance of enhancing international cooperation to advance the internal auditing profession. He highlighted the critical role of academic programs and international partnerships in advancing the profession, noting the authority’s successful collaborations with Harvard University and the University of Cambridge.
   These efforts have led to the graduation of over 200 professional leaders from the internal audit leadership program and 45 specialists from the governance, risk management, and compliance program.
